…for not bringing the Pixie Sweater with me when I bought the buttons. The daisies are too big for the buttonholes!! Poo.

The Pixie Sweater is done and blocking! I put some little daisy buttons on, and I think it looks super cute.

Hopefully I’ll hear if I got the job or not in the next few days. They called my references, which then called me to report how it went. Everyone gushed about me, so fingers crossed!! I went from 9 hours of appointments this week to 6 hours, with a no-show this morning, so I am really hoping I get the job.

I had a counseling session this morning, and when I go to see her, I feel I can’t talk fast enough to get everything out in that hour. Last time I saw her was before I went to AZ, so there was much to get her caught up on. Like the fact I heard my stepdad got married, and no one told me until about a week ago. Yeah. And both of us puzzling over B’s actions. Lots to talk about.

The Pixie Sweater is coming along very nicely; I already have the front and back done:

Isn’t it adorable?! It is the Crocus Cardigan (Ravelry link) from Oat Couture (pattern found at Yarn Sellar in Rockford). The yarn is Plymouth Dreambaby DK. I should be able to crank out the sleeves and collar tonight, tomorrow at the latest. Quick knit!

For some reason I just don’t want to work on my socks right now, so I’m making a baby sweater. We’ll see how far I get before flaking on that, too.

The job interview I had yesterday went very well. They said they’d let me know by the end of next week if I got the job or not.

I saw B today and we talked for a bit. He may be losing his job sooner than he thought. He may not lose it at all–but get bumped to another department–for less pay and fewer hours. He has finals next week on top of the work crap, so he’s stressing big time.

I was really hoping he and I would have a chance to talk this weekend; I want to know if he has a fucking clue yet about his life, because I don’t want to take this new job if I’m going to leave in a few months…it’s not fair to them. But he said he has to study blah blah and he’s all stressed out already blah blah, so maybe next weekend.

And that’s when I kicked him in the nads.

Not really.
